Functional Therapy

Protecting the natural function of your mouth is one of our most important responsibilities. Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) involves improper function of the jaw joints. TMJ symptoms include pain in the head, jaw, neck, or shoulders; tingling extremities: nighttime grinding and unexplainable wear on teeth; migraines; popping or malfunction of jaw joints. During your first appointment, we will screen you for neuromuscular abnormalities, and if problems exist, we'll recommend non-invasive therapy to correct the condition.
